【PUMM Sabah 8th Anniversary and Installation Night】
Malaysian Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) Sabah State Liaison celebrated its 8th anniversary and Installation Night on 29th April 2023 at the Hakka Hall, Kota Kinabalu. The event was attended by over 500 guests, including entrepreneurs, government officials, and media representatives. Yang Berhormat Phoong Jin Zhe, Sabah Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship also attended as Guest of Honor.
The event featured speeches by the Organizing Chairlady Mdm Carmen Wong, who welcomed the guests and thanked them for their support and presence. The Immediate Past State Liaison Chairman Dato George Lim Su Chung shared the achievements and challenges of PUMM Sabah in the past year and the vision and mission for the future.
The appointment of Mr Patrick Chiam as the new Sabah State Liaison Chairman was highlighted in the installation ceremony. He expressed his gratitude and commitment to lead PUMM Sabah to greater heights and to support the local entrepreneurs in their development and growth.
PUMM National President, Mr Tan Lay Seong commended Sabah State Liaison for its outstanding performance and contribution to not only PUMM members, but also to all Sabah entrepreneurs. The Organizing Chairman of Malaysia Role Model Recognition (MRMR) 2023 Award Ceremony, Mr Nelson Beh introduced the award and encourage more Sabah entrepreneurs to participate in the award.
Last but not least, YB Phoong Jin Zhe, the Sabah Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship as the distinguished Guest of Honor, has demonstrated his dedication and support to entrepreneurship development in Sabah, as well as his cooperation with the federal government for the welfare of Malaysia. He has also campaigned for more resources, more power, authority, and more allocation to foster and strengthen entrepreneurship in Sabah.
The event also witnessed the appointment of six Sabah State Advisors for PUMM Sabah. They are Dato George Lim Su Chung, Datuk Susan Wong, Datuk Thomas Ng, Datuk Clement Yeh, JP, Mr. Chong Yin Chye, and Mdm Serrene Tan Ng. They are all successful and influential entrepreneurs who have contributed significantly to the economic and social development of Sabah.
PUMM expressed great gratitude to the Organizing Chairlady Mdm Carmen Wong, and all the guests, sponsors, partners, and organzing committee for their support and participation in making this event a success.
【PUMM沙巴州联委会八周年纪念晚宴及就职典礼成功举行】
2023年4月29日，PUMM沙巴州联委会在亚庇 Hakka Hall 隆重举办了八周年纪念晚宴及就职典礼。当天出席者超过500人，活动主宾为沙巴工业及企业发展部长YB冯晋哲。
筹委会主席黄慧敏女士致欢迎辞，感激各界人士的支持和参与。紧接着，沙巴联委会前州主席拿督林书忠致开幕辞，回顾了PUMM在沙巴的发展历程和成就，同时也祝福新一届的州联委会成员。
其后，进行了新任沙巴州联委会主席詹裕俊的委任仪式。詹裕俊表示，他将继续带领PUMM在沙巴推动企业发展和培育年轻企业家，同时也期待与政府和其他组织合作，共同促进沙巴的经济繁荣。
PUMM全国总会长陈礼祥致贺辞，肯定了PUMM沙巴州联委会的工作和贡献，并鼓励所有会员继续朝PUMM的使命和愿景迈进。署理总会长兼2023马来西亚楷模人物表扬（MRMR）筹委会主席马俊豪也致辞，介绍了此奖项的目标和意义，并邀请各位嘉宾参与这项盛事。
最后，活动主宾冯晋哲部长致闭幕辞。他表示很开心能够出席这次活动，并对PUMM在沙巴的工作表示赞赏和支持。他也表达了他对发展沙巴经济和推动企业发展的决心。他说，政府将更着重于分配资源予沙巴州，以促进沙巴中小企业工业化和科技创新。
活动中州顾问的委任仪式。六位州顾问分别是拿督林书忠、拿督黄小娟、拿督黄伟基、拿督叶参局绅、张瑛财硕士和陈佩诗女士。他们都是各自领域的杰出企业家，将为PUMM提供专业的建议和指导。
在此，PUMM向筹委会主席黄慧敏女士及全体筹委会成员、赞助伙伴、各组织领袖、中央及州理事、到场所有嘉宾给予诚挚的谢意，使此次活动顺利举行。
