【PUMM x Haining Investment and Exchange Conference】
On 25th May 2023, Malaysian Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) organized a successful visit and exchange event with representatives from SMEs in Penang and officials from Haining City, Zhejiang, China. The event, titled "PUMM Haining Investment and Exchange Conference," was held at Jiayuan Chinese Restaurant.
The event organized by Penang State Chairman Alec Ooi, and Organizing Chairman Jacky Ho. During the event, PUMM engaged in in-depth discussions with the officials from Haining City, fostering fruitful exchanges and sharing of experiences. Through this event, PUMM gained a deeper understanding of Haining City's competitiveness and business environment in China. Haining City has been recognized as one of China's top 100 counties in terms of competitiveness and business environment, and its remarkable achievements in development have been further highlighted by its 4th place ranking in Forbes' selection of China's best county-level cities.
PUMM also learned about the significant progress made by Haining City in the semiconductor industry. The actual return on investment for the semiconductor industry fund reached an impressive 2.034 times, showcasing tremendous potential and development momentum. Haining City has made important investments in the semiconductor equipment materials industry and financing leasing platforms, providing robust support for the city's economic development.
PUMM extends special thanks to the officials from Haining City, Zhejiang, China, for their presence and cooperation. Participants included Penang State Liaison Chairman Alec Ooi, State Vice Chairlady Ellva Tan, Vice Chairman Chang Kai Deng, State Secretary Ong Wai Yeong, State Treasurer Tang Kah Teng, State Committee Jacky Ho, Melbans Ooi, and PUMM members.
2023年5月25日，马来西亚创业促进会（青创会；PUMM）槟州联委会与威省中小型企业代表以及中国浙江海宁市官员代表，共同参加了在家缘中餐厅举办的 “青创海宁招商交流会”。槟州联委会主席黄玟豪和筹委会主席何俊仁精心组织了这次交流会，收获颇多。
活动期间，青创会与中国浙江海宁市官方代表进行了深入交流，并共同享用午餐。在交流会中，众人分享了经验，了解了海宁市的发展计划方向，并留下了宝贵的合影。通过这次活动，青创会更深入地了解了海宁市在中国的竞争力和营商环境。作为中国竞争力百强县和全国营商环境百强县（市），海宁市的发展成就令人瞩目。在福布斯评选的中国最佳县级城市中，海宁市排名第4，再次证明了其在发展中的卓越表现。
青创会了解到海宁市在泛半导体产业方面取得了显著进展。泛半导体产业基金的实际投资回报率达到了2.034倍，展现出巨大的潜力和发展动力。海宁市还在半导体装备材料产业和融资租赁平台方面进行了重要投资，为该市的经济发展提供了强大的支持。
