We're delighted to announce that Dato’ Dr. Teh Tai Yong has been elected as the new President!

During the AGM, our Immediate Past President, Mr. Tan Lay Seong, reflected on his remarkable journey over the past few years. Despite facing challenges like pandemic lockdowns and financial crises, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all central committee members, state liaison committees, and PUMM members for their unwavering support.

Special thanks to our Honorary Speaker, Mr. Saw Choo Hong, for chairing the 29th Annual General Meeting, and to Mr. Lim Joo Kiat, Chairman of the Election Committee, for overseeing the election process.

In his inaugural address, President Dato’ Dr. Teh Tai Yong expressed deep gratitude for the trust and support of our members. He outlined ambitious plans to lead PUMM to greater heights, focusing on strengthening our core values, fostering government collaborations, promoting innovation and digitalization, and creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

President Dato’ Dr. Teh Tai Yong also emphasized the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles for sustainable development, encouraging companies to embrace these principles for a brighter future.
