【PUMM Corporate Visit to Celcomdigi】
Malaysia Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) paid a courtesy visit to Celcomdigi on 17th April 2023, at Menara Celcomdigi. The purpose of this visit was to have a first discussion about long-term collaboration between PUMM and Celcomdigi.
Celcomdigi is the biggest telco in Malaysia, formed by the merger of Celcom and Digi on 1st December 2022. The company offers a range of products and services, including mobile, broadband, fibre, digital solutions and 5G. Celcomdigi has a vision of helping SMEs to grow in Malaysia by providing them with a wholesome digital network solution.
The representatives of Celcomdigi are Mr SK Thew, Head of SME Direct Sales (Nationwide), Mr Steven Soon, Head of Enterprise Sales (SME), Ms Susan Lee, Head of Enterprise Brand & Marketing, and Mr Tan Yee Meng, Head of Sales (SME). They saw the potential to leverage their brands and names for marketing and promotion purposes, and expressed high interest in the potential collaboration with PUMM, as they recognised the value and influence of PUMM as an association that represents SMEs in various sectors.
PUMM also shared its values and vision for its members, which go beyond networking and include education, mentoring, advocacy and social responsibility. To further understand the needs and expectations of PUMM’s members, Celcomdigi proposed to conduct a survey to collect data on their amount of companies and current telco providers. This would help Celcomdigi to design and offer a suitable digital network solution for SMEs.
The ultimate goal of both parties was to create a win-win situation and build an ecosystem for SMEs that would benefit them in terms of cost, quality, convenience and innovation.
Participants included PUMM National President Tan Lay Seong, Vice President Dato Dr Teh, Honorary Treasurer Dato Jason Foo, Central Committee and Bureau Director of Sponsorship Nick Tan, Bureau Director of Branding Strategy Chong Yen Kai, and bureau committees.
马来西亚创业促进会（青创会；PUMM）于2023年4月17日，在 Celcomdigi 大厦，对 Celcomdigi 进行了企业拜访。此次拜访的目的是就双方之间的长期合作进行初步探讨。
Celcomdigi 是马来西亚最大的电信公司，由 Celcom 和 Digi 于2022年12月1日合并而成。该公司提供一系列的产品和服务，包括移动、宽带、光纤、数字解决方案 5G 网络。Celcomdigi 有意帮助中小企业（SME）的发展，为他们提供一个完整的数字网络解决方案。
Celcomdigi 出席会议的代表为中小企业直销部主管 SK Thew 先生，企业销售部主管 Steven Soon，中小企业销售部主管 Tan Yee Meng 先生，以及企业品牌与营销主管 Susan Lee 女士。他们看到了能够借助青创会的品牌进行市场营销和推广的潜力，并对与青创会的潜在合作表现出了高度兴趣，会中他们也认识到青创会作为一个代表各个行业中小企业的协会的价值和影响力。
青创会也分享了它对会员的价值观和愿景，这些不仅仅是商务联系，还包括教育、指导、倡导和社会责任。为了进一步了解青创会会员的需求和期望，Celcomdigi 建议进行进一步的调查，收集会员的公司数量和当前电信服务提供商的数据。这将有助于 Celcomdigi 设计和提供适合的数字网络解决方案。
双方的最终目标是创建一个双赢的局面，并建立一个能够让中小企业在成本、质量、便利性和创新方面受益的生态系统。
与会者包括全国总会长陈礼祥、副总会长拿督郑大勇博士、总财政拿督傅棋龙、赞助商发展局局长陈一锋、品牌策略发展局局长张彦凯、以及多位局成员。
