On 15th February 2024, in a momentous event held at the AC Hotel by Marriot Penang, the Malaysian Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) and Digital Penang sealed their commitment to advancing national digital transformation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Key figures from both organizations, including Mr. Tan Lay Seong, National President of PUMM, and Mr. Khooi Chu Boon, Director of SME and Community at Digital Penang, were instrumental in formalizing this collaboration. The signing ceremony also included witnesses, Mr. Daniel Dea Yik Hwa, PUMM Secretary-General, and Mr. Alec Ooi Boon Hao, Penang State Liaison Chairman.

This partnership aims to spearhead digital transformation initiatives in Penang, aligning with national policies and integrating the state into the broader digital landscape of Malaysia. By fostering close collaboration and innovation, PUMM and Digital Penang aspire to provide comprehensive support and opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and communities in Penang. The core objective is to contribute to national digital goals while championing initiatives like the "information marketplace" to catalyze digital development.

来自双方的代表包括青创会全国总会长陈礼祥先生和数字槟城中小企业与社区总监郭子文先生，在正式确立这一合作关系方面发挥了关键作用。见证人分别是青创会总秘书吕羽华先生，和槟城州联委会主席黄玟豪先生。

这项合作旨在领导槟城的数字化转型，与国家政策保持一致，并将该州纳入马来西亚更广泛的数字化格局中。通过密切合作和创新，青创会与数字槟城希望为槟城的中小微型企业和社群提供全面支持和机会。核心目标是为国家数字化目标做出贡献，同时倡导“信息市场”等倡议，推动数字化发展。

大会向青创会社交媒体发展局局长张奕鹏表示衷心感谢，他的全程协调和努力，使得这次合作得以成功达成。
